A number of users have reported sudden crashes of DbVisualizer on Fedora 25 systems.
2017-02-08: Some users confirms that upgrading Fedora (package xorg-x11-server-Xwayland.x86_64 version 1.19.1) solves the issue.
If it still fails, users have confirmed that running DbVisualizer under GNOME Classic or X.org works. Change window manager in the login screen in Fedora.
The following also implies the latest version of Gnome is not supported in Java:
