Linux——Ubuntu下显卡驱动的安装

近日在安装Utuntu下的显卡驱动，由于一直出现如下的问题：

ERROR: You appear to be running an X server; please exit X before
installing.  For further details, please see the section INSTALLING
THE NVIDIA DRIVER in the README available on the Linux driver
download page at www.nvidia.com.

大意就是，我现在正在使用一个X服务器（什么玩意），如果需要安装驱动的话需要关闭，百度搜索了半天，按照命令就是解决不了。于是，我便使用谷歌进行查找答案：

Hit 

CTRL+ALT+F1

and
login using your credentials.
kill your current X server session by typing 

sudo service lightdm stop

 or 

sudo lightdm stop

Enter run level 3 by typing 

sudo init 3

 and install your *.run file.
You might be required to reboot when the installation finishes. If not, run 

sudo
service lightdm start

 or 

sudo
start lightdm

 to start your X server again

1：CTRL+ALT+F1
进入命令行

2：sudo
service lightdm stop 关闭X-server

3：sudo
init 3 进入init 3，定位到需要安装的驱动文件下：sudo bash NVIDIA-**.run

4:shutdown
now 重启计算机即可，不行的话在此重复操作

--这样就行了，驱动安装后的节目，明显和原来不是一个画风
