You notice that the performance of your production 24/7 Oracle database significantly

degraded. Sometimes you are not able to connect to the instance because it hangs. You

do not want to restart the database instance.

How can you detect the cause of the degraded performance?

 

 

A. Enable Memory Access Mode, which reads performance data from SGA.

B. Use emergency monitoring to fetch data directly from SGA analysis.

C. Run Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM) to fetch information from the latest

Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) snapshots.

D. Use Active Session History (ASH) data and hang analysis in regular performance

monitoring.

E. Run ADDM in diagnostic mode.

在EM12c中有两个比较重要的特性，用来处理数据库由于锁资源的占用，数据库的Hang，数据库的死锁等紧急情况的发生导致数据库刮起，无响应甚至于sqlplus都无法登陆的情况，我们可以用EM12c

方便的处理，而不用需求重启数据库或者重启主机那么浪费代价的方法。紧急监视

通过紧急监视，我们可以实时观测到数据库的运行过程中是否有意外发生。操作方法如下：

如上红色框体部分，当我们的数据库中出现Hang故障的时候，我们还可以使用EM12c的"?Emergency?Monitoring?"功能，帮助我们分析数据库Hang的原因。
