To know the version of my Linux:
more /etc/*-release
To know the kernel version:
uname -r
uname -a
To determine my distribution:
lsb_relase -a
cat /etc/issue
cat /etc/redhat-release
cat /etc/system-release
(Actually, these commans have the similar results with the command “more /etc/*-release”)
