3D降噪

1)NSF is pure hardware, VNF is hardware based algorithm. NSF is described in the HDVPSS user guide, VNF has its own user guide in the RDK doc folder.

2)VNF does not have any hard constraint on the max resolution but VNF performance is lower than NSF, NSF can work with 1080P60 and VNF with 1080P30 only, if you apply VNF to a higher resolution you will probably see frame drop happen.

nsf使用的是HDVPSS里面的去噪模块。VNF是一个软硬结合的软件去噪库。后者去噪效果更好,前者性能更高。


1. DSS and ISS based VNF are 2 different noise filter implementations. DSS VNF is included in HDVPSS subsystem and can do upto 1080p 60fps noise filtering. ISS VNF is based in ISS+SIMCOP and can do upto 1080p30 fps noise filtering. ISS VNF is higher in quality than DSS VNF.

2. Both DSS VNF and ISS VNF support Spatial and temporal filtering. Thus both are 3D-noise filters.

3. VNF has a limit of 1080p (2M).

4. In low power mode HDVPSS is disabled thus DSS VNF cannot work. In Full feature mode user can select between ISS VNF and DSS VNF.
