从CDN到云计算 至强助力蓝汛服务转型

7月21日 北京报道（文/孟庆）：北京蓝汛通信技术有限责任公司（ChinaCache）成立于1998年，是国内有名的专业CDN服务提供商。作为首家于2000年被信产部许可的CDN服务提供商，目前蓝汛在全国多个城市拥有服务节点，覆盖中国电信、中国联通、中国移动和中国教育科研网等各大运营商，向客户提供高质量的CDN服务。

随着云计算大潮的涌起，蓝汛也积极谋求以IaaS模式契机，转型成为云服务提供商。记者日前采访了蓝汛公司副总裁霍涛先生和蓝汛云产品事业部总监于浩先生，请他们详解了蓝汛目前的云计算业务情况，以及公司转型中的经验。

霍涛先生对记者表示，2011年第一季度相比2010年业务增长48%，同比增长79.6%，环比增长10%。霍总表示，媒体娱乐、传统门户及软件客户是蓝汛的核心用户群，而电子商务领域的客户则是蓝汛新拓展出的行业用户，包括众多团购网等目前都在使用ChinaCache提供的相关服务。

霍总认为，是客户的需求促成了云计算的诞生——众多企业面临IT系统高成本、低利用率和难维护等问题，因此用虚拟化资源池的方式打通底层基础架构，形成统一的资源调配和按需取用的灵活作业调度系统。因此，同样是客户的需求促使蓝汛开始发展云计算技术和相关产品。

据了解，目前蓝汛的云计算服务主要是C3（ChinaCache Cloud）云服务，包括常用的云主机租用服务和云存储服务。霍总表示，与传统IDC相比，云服务具有高可靠性、高可用性、高灵活性、高扩展性、高使用率、低设备成本、低人工成本、短推广产品周期性。可按需购买，按月付费，无一次性投入，大大降低业务风险。



霍总对记者表示，刚开始来的客户都是以托管为目的的，因为客户来托管的业务往往规模较小，成本风险较大。因此以往这些客户都是从成本投入角度考虑，只托管一两台机器。而当业务规模扩大，用户就只有来托管更多的机器，然后扩展迁移自身的业务。在很多情况下，这类迁移和扩展业务规模的时候时间十分紧迫。而云模式下的基础架构租用则可以在保证低成本小规模的同时，实现无缝的灵活业务扩展。

现在的客户可以从内存量和处理器内核数目来租用所需的计算资源，而一旦业务成长起来，则继续追加租用更多的计算资源；相反，当业务缩减的时候，也能灵活的退租计算资源，节约成本。

对于在实施云主机和云存储租用过程中的经验心得，霍总表示目前蓝汛的C3云服务业务还处于成长阶段，主要面向中小企业。而公司数据中心在转型的过程中不可避免的面临着虚拟化资源池的搭建以及云计算数据中心管理的问题。在这方面蓝汛得到了来自英特尔的大力支持，不论是产品技术还是解决方案建议上霍总表示都与英特尔保持着良好的合作。

负责云计算具体业务运营的于浩表示，英特尔至强系列平台在硬件底层提供的硬件辅助虚拟化、更多内存容量寻址等技术对于蓝汛虚拟化整合具有重要意义。霍总表示，云计算把CPU计算资源变成类似水一样的资源，可以最大化系统资源利用率：1、水可以流动，云计算让CPU计算能力也在不同的机器之间流动；2、水是无缝的，云计算让内存和CPU的内存得以完全灵活的分配在各个机器中。蓝汛原先做CDN的时候CPU利用率只有20%多，而在做云服务之后的CPU利用率普遍在80%以上——这种利用率提高的优势也是云计算的独特价值。而得益于英特尔的支持，这些水可以更加快速的"流动"，为客户提供更好的云计算支持。

在后端服务器的选型上，于浩表示目前蓝汛倾向于选择轻量级和标准机架服务器，这主要是受限于机房目前可以承载的供电和散热需求——因此刀片服务器还不适合部署在现有的机房。不过于浩也表示，当未来国内高密度数据中心机房成长发展起来以后，蓝汛也乐于将自身的平台转移到刀片服务器上，以更高的计算密度、更低的成本来服务用户。
