Guice 似乎没人维护了

今天不小心逛到了 Google Guice 的论坛，看到 Guice 项目成员之一的 Sam Berlin 的一条回复：
To be perfectly honest, I would like to drop persist from the extensions we ship. The original author more or less dropped the code in the repository and then stopped maintaining it immediately. No one within Google really uses it, and we have no familiarity with it. If another project wants to fork and maintain it, that would be great.

这意味着在 Guice 的创始人、人称 Crazy Bob 的 Bob Lee 在离开谷歌之后，这个项目已经被谷歌放弃，目前维护的人也寥寥无几。小伙伴儿们还是安心地使用 Spring Framework 吧，虽然它的创始人 Rod Johnson 也已经离开了，但是 Spring 依然还在喜大普奔的路上，支持 Java 8 和 Java EE 6/7 的 Spring Framework 4.0 版正式发布不久（官网上都没看到宣布 4.0 正式发布的博客，估计他们都回家过圣诞节去了吧），一大波新特性正等着我们去发掘……

原文指的是 Guice 扩展中的 persist 模块，而不是指的 Guice。目前 Guice 4.0 版还在 beta 阶段，但一直有人在维护。Google 的很多开源项目都转移到 github.com 上了。在谷歌所有网站都被天朝屏蔽的情况下，这也算是一件好事了。
