1. Service Application Framework相比SSP的优势是: a. 灵活性:在SSP中,即使使用某一个服务,也需要关联整个SSP,权限也是统一设置;如果想使用一个不同配置的服务,也需要重新创建一个SSP。 b. 服务的独立性:每个服务是一个service application; c. 集成在SharePoint Foundation中,而SSP不包含在WSS中;2. Services: a. Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application : 标识了此服务器是否作为前端服务器;3. Serivce Applications: a. Access Services: 允许access database发布到sharepoint上,使得多个用户可以在浏览器中访问和编辑access数据库;具体操作可以参考此处; b. Application Registry Service: SharePoint 2007中的Business Data Catalog升级为SharePoint 2010 Business Data Connectivity service后,SharePoint 2010的BCS服务并不向后兼容,所以ARS就用户存储那些兼容SharePoint 2007 BDC中object model的application definitions;具体操作可参考此处; c. Business Data Connectivity Service: 提供了SharePoint与外部数据进行交互的能力,详情请见此处; d. Excel Services使得用户可以将客户端的Excel发布到SharePoint上,在页面上展示/交互excel文件,详情请见此处; e. Managed Metadata Service: 提供了统一集中管理term和term set的方法,可以体现设置一些值,用作item的属性,详情请见此处; f. PerformancePoint services: 提供了监控/分析业务数据,提供了灵活的工具来创建dashboards, scorecards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs),详情请见此处,操作请见此处; g. Web Analytics Service: 提供站点访问信息并生成报告,详情可见此处; h. Usage and Health Service: 搜集Farm场的使用和健康数据并生成报告,详情参考此处; i. User Profile Service: i. 需要配置三种数据库:Profile Database, Synchronization Database和Social Tagging Database; ii. 在'Manage Service on Server'中启动UPS和User Profile Synchronization Service会相应的启动服务器'Services'中的Forefront Identity Manager Service(FIM)和Forefront Identity Manager Synchronization Service(FIMSynchronizationService); iii. 同步顺序是 AD -> UPS <--> SharePoint站点,但由于SharePoint Server是以User Profile来作为用户信息存储中心,所以SharePoint Server不允许用户直接修改存储在SharePoint站点中的用户信息,而是定时自动的将User Profile中的用户信息推送到每个站点中。也就是说,即使你手工修改了UserInfo表中存储的用户信息数据,或通过SPUser对象模型修改了用户的属性信息,但它们很可能很快就会又被自动的覆盖成User Profile中的值。我们应该通过修改User Profile用户信息,来达到更新和维护用户信息的目的。User Profile应该是整个SharePoint Server服务器场中唯一的用户信息存储中心; iv. User Profile Service配置好后,可以设置MySite,具体请见此处; v. 其它信息请见此处; j. Search Service: 由Crawler, Indexing Engine, Query Engine,User Interface and Query Object Model组成; i. 权限问题:确保search service account在User Profile Service中有'Retrieve People Data for Search Crawler'的权限,并且在要被爬网的web application上有Read权限;
ii. 数据库:Administration Database, Crawl Database, 和 Property Database; --Crawling iii. Server Name Mapping: 将爬网时查到的地址与显示在search result中的地址进行匹配; iv. File Types: 可以被爬到的文件类型;不在此列表的文件类型不会被爬到; v. Crawler Impact Rules : A crawler impact rule defines the rate at which the Windows SharePoint Services Help Search service requests documents from a Web site during crawling. The rate can be defined either as the number of simultaneous documents requested or as the delay between requests. 用于设置请求文档的频率,可以是不同请求之间delay的时间,也可以是同时请求的最大文档数; -- Queries and Results vi. Authoritative Pages: vii. Federated Locations: 用于定义显示result时用到的不同location,通过这个设置,可以将来自不同数据源的结果聚合在一起进行显示; viii. Metadata properties: 实质上是对爬网得到的元数据和用户搜索词汇进行关联; ix. Scopes: 用于定义搜索范围,比如people,all sites; x. Search Results Removal: 从搜索结果中移除某个url地址下的内容;
