linux安装、启动mysql

我下载的文件是

MySQL-client-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

MySQL-server-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

MySQL-shared-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

先安装MySQL-shared-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm：

[root@localhost mysql]# rpm -ivh MySQL-shared-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
1:MySQL-shared           ########################################### [100%]

然后安装MySQL-server-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm：

[root@localhost mysql]# rpm -ivh MySQL-server-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
1:MySQL-server           ########################################### [100%]
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h localhost.localdomain password 'new-password'

Alternatively you can run:
/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation

which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is
strongly recommended for production servers.

上面安装成功，但是启动mysql报错了。

最后安装MySQL-client-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm：

[root@localhost mysql]# rpm -ivh MySQL-client-5.0.96-1.glibc23.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
1:MySQL-client           ########################################### [100%]

因为启动mysql报错了，所以修改一下文件/etc/selinux/config，把

SELINUX=enforcing

改为

SELINUX=disabled

然后reboot。

重启完后，启动mysql：

[root@localhost ~]# service mysql start
Starting MySQL[确定]

设置root的密码：

[root@localhost ~]# mysqladmin -u root password 'root123'

登录：

[root@localhost ~]# mysql -u root -p
Enter password:
Welcome to the MySQL monitor.  Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 2
Server version: 5.0.96-community MySQL Community Edition (GPL)
