ways to get DNS updated for a server re-IP.

ipconfig /registerdns 注册本机到DNS

ipconfig /flushdns 清除本机DNS缓存

ipconfig/displaydns 看本机DNS缓存信息

There are 3 ways which I know for DNS to get updated.

1.
Once the server has been re-IP’d, to run the “ipconfig /registerdns” from the command prompt

2.
Delete the old entry in DNS, and re-add the new A Host record with the updated IP address as a dynamic record

3.
Re-join the server to the domain

The most effective way to get DNS updated is #2 if doing a server re-IP.
