SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS |
This page provides our recommended and supported environments for HP ALM, HP ALM Essentials and HP Quality Center Enterprise (Technology Preview) version 11.50. It also covers HP ALM and HP Quality Center Enterprise version 11.00 and HP Quality Center Premier and HP Quality Center Enterprise version 10.00. The environments list the minimum patch level required for support. NOTE: Quality Center 11.5 has been released in Technology Preview mode and is NOT GA. Server-Side System Requirements |
Following are the server system configurations for installing HP ALM 11.50, HP ALM Essentials, and HP Quality Center Enterprise (Technology Preview) 11.50 on Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
Please note that these requirements do not apply if you are utilizing Managed Software Solutions for HP ALM or HP Quality Center Enterprise. In that case, the Managed Software Solutions team provides a hosted version of HP ALM or HP Quality Center Enterprise, so the only requirements are the Client-Side System Requirements listed below.

Application Servers |
The Application server functionality is now built-in to the ALM/QC platform and there is no need to install a third party application server (WebLogic, WebSphere, and JBoss) from version 11.50 onwards. The HP ALM application server uses JDK6 (1.6) and supports 64 bit JVM.
