Audinst HUD-mx1 - XP and foobar2000

如果用 PC 或者 notebook 作为音源（目前好评最多的是2010 MacMini），那么在同样硬件条件下，我们还需要进行操作系统的优化和播放器的配置优化，尽量避免在数字传输 01 10 上出现 jitter。16 比特，44.1khz 的音源意味着每秒需要输出 44100 audio slices, 每个 slice 包含了 0 - 65535 之间的一个数值。DAC 单元将这些数字序列转换成 voltage，因此如果因为软件输出存在 jitter，那么后续的模拟输出也就会出现失真。

对于 foobar 软件，我们现在最常用的 OUTPUT 是 WSAPI 和 ASIO，KS 已经淡出了。我的 mx1 接的机器是 XP，因此只能选择 ASIO4ALL，下面说说我所作的一些觉得起作用的配置。

XP tweaks

1, 后台优先, 关闭 paging file，修改完需要重启系统:

Start - Control Panel - System - Advanced - Performance "settings" - Advanced -

A. Processor scheduling - Background services

B. Virtual Memory - "Change" - Paging File Size for selected drive "no paging file"

2, 关闭不需要使用的程序，我用了 360 软件去优化启动项，360 软件也不启动!

Foobar2000 tweaks

Preferences -> Playback -> Output -> ASIO -> Run with high process priority

Preferences -> Playback, set both Replay Gain options to "none"

Preferences -> Advanced -> Playback -> Full File Buffering, set as much RAM as you can afford. i.e. 50000K if you mostly have 1 flac file per track, 350000K if you mostly have 1 flac file per disc.

Preferences -> Advanced -> Playback -> Thread Priority, set to "6"
