Analysis on Technical Progress of Grinding Mill

It’s been over 50 years since the first industrial mill, the grinding mill come out, featuring of fine and ultra-fine grinding mill. Looking back, the historical progress are with rapid technological change and updated equipment innovation, but the most notable signs attribut to following two aspects:
First, the amplitude of the early 3 ~ 7mm raised to 12 ~ 15mm, thus multiplied the mill’s productivity, and the difficulty to enlarge structure, which constrained by the structural and design parameters of the vibration grinding equipment are expected to be settled by high productivity;
Second, the operating principle of grinding mill extended to crushing, so the features high-energy efficiency and high crushing strength are fully realized in various stages in the primary crushing, secondary crushing, fine grinding.
For high-impact produced by the large amplitude has formed a broad consensus by international engineer and also as a demarcation line to measure the vibration mill’s performance,the combination of vibration grinding and vibration crushing decreased the energy consumption of the ultra-fine powder equipment with high efficiency.
According to the division of the grinding process and the evaluation of equipment efficiency by Japanese scholars, Ping Tin Bo and Xizhu Maoshu ,shown in Table 1, vibration crushing and vibration grinding are relatively simple process and more effective in coarse, midium, fine crushing, and fine and ultra-fine grinding stages. Therefore, the vibration mill has been widely used in building materials, chemical , metallurgy, mining, non-metallic minerals and refractories industries.
