2011 Asia Teams advanced to 2012 World Finals in Warsaw

Asia Teams Qualified for 2012 World Finals and the Calculation (37 universities).
(This list is waiting for the approval from ACM-ICPC Executive Director Dr. Bill Poucher. ICPC Headquarter is in Christmas Shutdown now. 12/27/2011 draft.)
1.(Teams with * are having multiple qualified teams from the same university. Coaches are
requested to select one team by Jan 10, 2012, ** indicates the same qualified team.)
2.{ ( x/y) = (Total slots used/score earned from accepted registration count); ( z ) = (slot used);
Please refer to Asia rules: 0.3 foreign team, 0.6 multiple domestic teams, 1.0 single domestic team. }
3.(^^ Since IIT Kanpur team was absent from Orlando WF for no good reason, the IIT Kanpur –
Pandora Box team is required to provide to Asia Director the certification from university
administration that the university will remove all obstacles for the team to go to Warsaw WF,
and the proof from university or industry that the team has transportation fund to travel to
Warsaw. The team will be disqualified if such certification and proof can not be provided by Jan 31, 2012. The slot will be used for other team in Asia.)

1.IIUM of Malaysia has hosted the Asia Regionals for 3 times.
2.Each of those 3 contests includes most foreign teams in Asia:
a.2011 - 60 teams including 29 foreign teams
b.2010 - 68 teams including 35 foreign teams
c.2008 - 60 teams including 35 foreign teams
3.Malaysia has not had any team advanced to WF for the past 10 years.
4.IIUM Tribute-> Ritchie is ranked #11 in KL site. The ever highest ranked team for
a Malaysia team for the past 10 years. The host team deserves the award.
