hi Sheng,
Please take a quick look at the following command as below:
1:Sort ,
1.1This command is used to sort the file and can give a sorted file to the user, Maybe there are more than one field in the file, If you want to sort the second field of the file, you can use the command :"sort -t +1 FileName " to get he expected result.
2: Grep
This command is used to select line which can match the key word, for example, if you want to select the line which contains the wold of "KEY", you can use the command :" grep 'KEY' FileName" to achieve the expected result.
If you want the filter the line which contains the key word more than one time with the same type , please use the command :"grep -l 'KEY' FileName".
3: Awk
This comand is always used to select the matched line, if you want to find which line contain the ke word "KEY", you can use the command :"awk '/KEY/' fileNmae" , and if you want to find the line wich contain more than one key word , you can use : "awk '/key1/,/key2/' FileName",
In case there is parameter in the command ,please use command : "awk '$1 == 5' FileName " or "awk '$1 == "CT"' ".
4: Find
Using this command ,If you do not know the file where it is and its folder direction , you can use the command : "find . -name "*.java" ", so all the file match with the end of ".java" will show up.
