微软定于7月10日发布Silverlight 3

微软官方宣布将会于7月10日发布Silverlight 3，同时也会发布Expression Blend 3。在Silverlight 3中会有很多新的控件和特性，在控件方面如DockPanel、WrapPanel、ViewBox、AutoCompleteBox、TreeView等，Silverlight 3增加50多项新功能，包括支持3D、图形处理器加速、H.264视频支持以及为Silverlight增加的浏览器之外的功能。 微软发布的通知：

RIA Services 虽然Silverlight 3增加了相当多的功能，但是仍然是以Silverlight 2为基础，两者之间兼容性非常好，所以Silverlight 2的知识仍然有用，一如ASP.NET 2.0到ASP.NET 3.5的转变。
