(1)实义动词: She loves being a student again. Being single has its advantages.
(2)助动词:The lift is being repaired. I don't like being corrected.

语法结构
1 being | + 形容词/名词短语
I don't like being ill.
Stop being so irritable.
The worst thing about being a waiter is the hours.
Being single again has its advantages.
表示状态正在进行，就好像这些状态是过程一样。

2 am/is/was等| + being | + 形容词/名词短语
The children are being silly.
Were the neighbours being noisy?
Tony was being a bore,so I left and came home.
谈论暂时的行为方式或感受。

3 am/is/was等 | + being | + 过去分词
Those old apartment blocks are being pulled down.
I can't give you a lift: the car is being serviced.
谈论现在正在发生的事情，无须提及施动者。(这是一种被动语态:
现在进行时被动语态。)

4 like/love/hate等 | + being | + 过去分词
The politician didn't like being interrupted.
The dog loves being taken for a walk.
谈论发生在你身上的你喜欢或不喜欢的事，无需提及施动者。

5 (it )being | + 形容词/名词短语 | + 主句
It being Sunday,I didn't need to go to work.
He offered me a cigarette but, being a non-smoker, I refused.
说明原因

搭配
经常用于语法结构1的形容词有:silly,unfair,rude,stupid,honest,good,naughty,
ridiculous,careful,serious,selfish和unreasonable.
I think you're being a bit unfair on me.I never said...
I hope you're not being serious: do you really think...?

固定短语
for the time being = temporarily临时地，暂时地
You can leave your luggage in reception for the time being.

all things being equal = if there are no other factors that will affect the situation
