Alembik Project: providing transcoding services for different media types (image, audio, video, etc)

 
    I've had a chance to get involved recently in Alembik project(It can be found at http://alembik.sourceforge.net/). It is a Media Transcoding Server providing transcoding services for different media types(image, audio, video, etc).
    The architecture of Alembik is based and fully compliant with OMA STI(Open Mobile Alliance Standard Transcoding Interface) sepcification(It can be found at http://www.openmobilealliance.org/Technical/release_program/sti_v10.aspx).  
    I will post out the latest study on Alembik in future.
