Vintela Releases Single Sign-On For Java @ JDJ

Vintela has released Vintela Single Sign-On For Java (VSJ) 3.0. VSJ leverages the existing Kerberos support in Microsoft Active Directory to provide a comprehensive cross-platForm, Single Sign-On solutiOn For Java (J2SE and J2EE) applicatiOns and services. This latest release of VSJ includes end-to-end security, tight integratiOn with Vintela AuthenticatiOn Services (VAS), and Significant enhancements to the Kerberos capabilities built into the product.

This cOnsolidated security provides a quicker path to regulatory compliance while streamlining management. Tight integratiOn with Vintela AuthenticatiOn Services (VAS) allows organizatiOns using both VSJ and VAS to authenticate using the same Kerberos credential For Java, UNIX, and Linux-creating a true Single Sign-On envirOnment
VSJ provides secure Single Sign-On authenticatiOn between users and applicatiOns through its use of the Windows Integrated AuthenticatiOn mechanism. VSJ is optimized to leverage Kerberos credentials through Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) For WebLogic and JDBC For authenticatiOn to SQL Server from J2EE applicatiOns.
