PushToTest TestMaker 5.0 安装手记

今天下载了个TestMaker试用。

安装TestMaker前需要先安装firefox，下载了2.0.0.11版本的firefox，安装后，再安装TestMaker。

但是安装到TestGen4Web组件时，提示不能安装，因为与Firefox2.0.0.11不兼容。（TestGen4Web 0.40.0只能和Firefox介于1.4.1到2.0的版本兼容）

重新下载了个firefox-1.5.0.13，继续安装。

安装完后，找到安装目录，运行TestMaker.bat，提示：

Starting PushToTest(tm) TestMaker...

Cannot start PushToTest(tm) TestMaker

JAVA_HOME environment variable not set

设置环境变量JAVA_HOME：

D:/Program Files/Java/jre1.6.0_01/bin

 

再次运行TestMaker.bat，这次提示的是：

Starting PushToTest(tm) TestMaker...

系统找不到指定的路径。

查找TestMaker的帮助文件得知：

For Windows systems set the JAVA_HOME by following these instructions:

Click Start->Control Panel->System. Then click Advanced, then click "Environment Variables".
Under System variables, click "New". For Variable Name, use JAVA_HOME (exactly like that, case and all). For Variable Value, use the path to your Java installation. For example, c:/jsdk1.6. Do not set the path to the bin directory within the Java installation. Click OK until the Control Panel is closed.
Verify the setting. Click Start->Run, and in the command box type "cmd" and click OK. At the command prompt, type echo %JAVA_HOME% and verify that the value returned matches the Variable Value from step 2.
原来还是JAVA_HOME设置有问题，重新设置JAVA_HOME环境变量为：D:/Program Files/Java/jre1.6.0_01

再次运行TestMaker.bat，这次终于成功了，出现版本信息提示：

Starting PushToTest(tm) TestMaker...

TestMaker

Build Date:    August 10, 2007
