ATC Team Job Description for SDE

Position: Software Design Engineer for ATC CS Consumer Solutions Team

Organization: MSR Asia Advanced Technology Center

Location: Beijing

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in solving real customer issues and enabling our partners to ship new products every few months? The Solutions Team is trying to set up an engineering center through ATC, being responsible for delivering complete CSF-based solutions to the operators all over the world in the field of communications. The solutions we provide will enable consumers to use Microsoft products with great ease on their mobile phones or through their home broad band Internet connections. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to join a world-class development team that will help Microsoft provide “software as services”.

We are looking for an energetic developer who is organized, proactive, motivated & self-driven, with strong design, debugging and development skills. This position will ave a strong customer partnership focus. You will get a chance to learn and contribute to the end-to-end CSF-based solutions that will enable millions of users to use the services provided by Windows Live, Xbox Live, Office Live etc.

The basic expectations for this position include:

Customer focus & interest in learning new business models, new development environment and platforms.
Excellent communication skills in Chinese; able to communicate in English fluently, both spoken and written.
At least 2 yeas experience in software development, BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
Strong debugging, solid coding in .NET (C#) and design skills.
Knowledge of developing Web Services and back end components.
Knowledge in breath of technology (T-SQL, ADO.NET, BizTalk, IIS, SOAP/XML, MSI, CSF and networking) are big pluses
