Tip of Today- Nose Dive爱跳水的鼻子

Nose dive。这个说法据说来源于飞机。飞机机头最前的部分称为nose。nose dive
的时候，飞机尾巴向上，鼻子向下快速地往地面下降。nose dive也引申出了很多
意思： "Today the stock market took a nosedive and dropped 75 points."
“今天股票市场猛跌了75点。”

美国报纸可能会这样报导好莱坞电影明星：

"Everyboday thought this young actor would have a brilliant future
after he starred in two pictures that made a lot of money. Then he
appeared in three films that nobody want to see, and his career took a
nose dive -- no producer wants him any more." “那个年轻演员演了两部很赚
