What is Google Scholar?

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly

How are articles ranked?

Google
Scholar orders your search results by relevance. As with Google web
search, the most useful references appear at the top of the page.
Google ranking technology considers the full text of each article, the

the piece has been cited in other scholarly literature.
